How we collect, use, and protect the information of the parents and young athletes in our program. Effective June 10, 2026.

Who we are

Clark County is a youth basketball mentorship program operated with NBA defender Jaylen Clark. We provide year-round virtual training, film, and mentorship for young athletes ages 8 to 17. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. If you have any questions, email us at jaylenclark007@gmail.com.

What we collect

We keep data collection to what we actually need to run the program:

Children's privacy / COPPA

This is a program for minors, so we treat their information with extra care.

Accounts are created and managed by parents or legal guardians only. We collect a child's information only from the parent. If a child uses the "I'm a player" signup path, they only provide a first name — we then contact the parent to complete setup and obtain consent.

Parents can review, update, or delete their child's information at any time by emailing us. We never knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has given us information without your consent, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use information

We use the information we collect only to deliver the program: running live sessions, completing film breakdowns, sending program emails through Resend, processing payments through Stripe, and hosting video sessions over Zoom. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted providers, and each one only receives the information it needs to do its job:

Retention & deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to run the program and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When you cancel, you can ask us to delete your and your athlete's personal information, and we will remove it from our active systems within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain certain records.

Your rights & choices

You can review, correct, export, or delete your information at any time by emailing us. You can unsubscribe from non-essential program emails using the link in any message. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws — we honor those requests.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify members by email. Continued use of the program after a change means you accept the updated policy.
